Menu Collation And Analysis
Menumark has been facilitating meal-by-meal ordering systems since
1979. Patient choices may be entered centrally in the Catering Department
or at ward level. Entry can be manual or can utilise barcodes, scanner
or optical mark reader. A variety of technologies are available
to suit the requirements of the particular hospital situation. Where
individual patient menus are in use, they can be printed in house
using Datasym software and a high-volume office printer/copier.
A wide range of operational reporting includes summaries of orders,
analysis by diet types, trolley sheets and container labelling.
Takeup histories are maintained for planning purposes and supplies
of meals to wards are fully costed and reported.
